XSOLAR – A storytelling product campaign for STEINEL

For the product launch, we opted to drive home just why STEINEL’s XSolar light is one of the best of its kind on the market: the solar-powered light source works in any place at any time, regardless of location and weather conditions.

We took the key elements of product benefit to extremes, demons­t­rating practical usage in condi­tions of heat, cold and brightness: at a secluded mountain cabin at 1,400 metres, with no electricity; on an island in North Frisia regularly beset by violent storms; and in a building deep in the Spanish countryside, far from civili­sation. We put the spotlight on XSolar with a storytelling campaign: light anywhere, at any time, thanks to Steinel lights. The campaign was publi­cised via YouTube and a landing page, backed up by PR specials and PoS promo­tional measures – so the target groups got the message!
